Most knitters and crocheters will have odd ends of wool and most of those will have ended up heading for land fill.  However thanks to Juniper Moon Farm.  I have now found the perfect job for them.

Using a simple bird feeder, you can offer the birds in your garden the chance to brighten up their nests in fashions latest colours.

I would love to see nests made with the wool scraps.

I love it!   This is great – I’m going to do this today.  I used to have sheep and would find bird nests made with  wool woven in with the twigs and grass – they would get it off the fence or wherever it had come loose from the sheep.

I give this idea a “thrums up!”
