Well have been messing about with some soy wax that I got and I am pretty pleased with the results. The wax is great and the really really good bit is it can be washed off with ordinary detergent and hot water.

As I sat helping my daughter to knit recently I was bitten by the bug and am now in the process of creating a series of bags for crystalvelvet.co.uk using textures yearns.
The first completed bag is the Mocha chocca bag which is created from eyelash wool. It is lined with a cotton ochre lining.
Now back to the knitting needles where I’m working an autumned toned sholder bag.

Here are some dangles I made using glass beads and silver wire. They look great suspended in a window or on a tree.
Everyday I pop out to grab a sarni at lunch and have a little walk around a square called golden square in Soho in Central London..
This area of Soho is full of designers, marketing and .com’s …
Every so offern the square gets some “art” / “crafts” …
Today it was the turn of the ice sculptures…
Some really nice sculptures… Sorry the photo’s not great but the light is really flat today

here are some pictures of my set up for this years open house which is currently in full fling.

I just love this candle. It looks so realistic. Quite a centre piece on the dining room table at Christmas. Could be dressed up with holly and berries - and it smells oh so good too cinnamon has to be my all time favourite smell!
These are my latest two tiaras. The first is created using swaroski crystal AB bicones. It is just over one and a half inches high.
This next one is about an inch high and is crystal AB, burgundy and vintage rose satin Swarovki crystals.

I was asked by a work colleague to make a card for her mother as it was her 80th Birthday. She wanted to add a photo of her mother from her younger days. After scanning the photo and a good few hours of thinking about it here’s what i came up with:

I’m glad to say that the whole family liked it so they all signed it so it could be kept as a keepsake. The recipient of the card then asked me to make one for her brother who was going to be 90 a few weeks later, she also decided that she wanted one for her other brother even though it wasn’t his birthday so they’d all have a keepsake card. Here’s the other two i came up with:

I found the male cards harder but still enjoyed making these very personal cards. Which is a good job as i’ve since been asked to make some for other people.
Hope you like them and maybe they’ll inspire someone to use some photo’s on their cards.
Seems like I’m in a bracelet mood at the moment. i’ve spent the last few nights creating some lampwork charm bracelets in a whole range of colours.
These chunky bracelets have a lobster clasp and extender chain closure.
My person favourite is the autumn tones one. perfect for the current season with the tumbling golden leaves!
